In today’s post we will be reviewing the Minelab Excalibur, one of the most advanced and well-built beach and water detectors made! This metal detector will suit almost all your beach and water hunting needs.
The unique design of the Minelab Excalibur II allows you to use it as effectively in or out of the water. Whether working on the beach, wading at any depth or diving a wreck. TheExcalibur makes uses of 17 multiple frequencies to punch down through the toughest soil/sand conditions. The multiple frequencies also work to distinguish between non-ferrous and ferrous metals with ease, so it will make picking out that gold ring out of a bed of iron easier than ever before
The Excalibur is many beach hunters first choice for land, sea, and beach metal detecting. I’ve used many of detectors in the last 20 years for beach and water metal detecting and this one outperforms all others hands down.
The best metal detector for finding gold jewelry at salt water beaches that discriminate out iron trash. Takes some time to get used to signals and slow reacting time after using other brands of detectors but patience pays off in gold.
The Excalibur is a good all around water detector. It’s not the deepest and it’s not as good as some on small gold items but overall it has won me over. Great in trashy sites. Love the ability to separate targets with the sound. I’ve probably owned three other water detectors since I bought the Excal but I keep coming back to it. It suits my detecting style well
I have a Excalibur I bought two years ago. I love the machine! I especially appreciate the unique tone id system. It makes hunting so very much easier than trying to figure out what something is from a single tone signal.
