The top positive review was this one :
i love this detector works quite well i do suggest getting a coil cover to help the coil last longer within 15 minutes of unboxing it i had it powered on and finding things in my yard takes some time to mess with it learn what its telling you this is a perfect all around detector while its not water proof its sealed enough that should it get a light sprinkle while headed back to the car its not gonna crap out on u feels very well made they also offer longer composite shafts if you are over 6’2″ and find this too short
The top critical review was the following:
First ever Whites with an issue and this is my third, I have had a M6 and then a MXT Pro all were perfect. Opened the box and battery door was already opened, installed the batteries and the door is closed forever? No way to get the door open without prying and I am not going to do that. Powered it on and the display is nuts, all over the place. Noises and display going instantly from one thing to the other. Turn the Threshold to 0, and Sensitivity to 0 which means the unit is now useless but it calms down. Do a factory reset and same old thing? I was going to remove the batteries and let it set, thinking it might be just a glitch, but remember the battery door is closed now and can not be opened. Disappointed, yes. Going back to Amazon and not sure what to do now.
